Can I take Berberine and Vitamin c together?

Why this happens

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) creates a slightly more acidic environment in the gut, which can help berberine dissolve better and remain stable. There are no known negative effects on how the liver processes these two substances (metabolism) or how the kidneys remove them (excretion).

It is generally safe to take berberine and vitamin C together. However, always stick to the recommended dosages on the product labels. If you have a pre-existing medical condition like diabetes or are taking blood-thinning medication, you should consult your GP before starting berberine, as it can affect blood sugar levels.
