Why this happens
Both substances can affect your blood vessels. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels to lower blood pressure. NAC can increase the production of nitric oxide, which also relaxes blood vessels. When used together, these two effects can add up, leading to a stronger blood pressure-lowering effect.
What you should do

To avoid dizziness, try to get up slowly from a sitting or lying position. If you feel very dizzy, faint, or develop a persistent headache, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
