Can I take Evolocumab and Ezetimibe together?

Why this happens

Important precautions

Latex allergy - evolocumab

The needle cover of the pre-filled pen or syringe contains dry natural rubber (a derivative of latex), which may cause severe allergic reactions in people with a latex sensitivity.

Liver disease

You must not take ezetimibe if you have active liver disease or unexplained persistent elevations in liver enzymes.

Food and drink warnings

Alcohol

It is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol while taking these medicines. Both evolocumab and ezetimibe are used to lower cholesterol, and regular or heavy alcohol consumption can increase the risk of liver problems and interfere with the effectiveness of your treatment.
