Yoghurt-Chia Pudding

This creamy yoghurt and chia seed pudding is a versatile vegetarian breakfast option that relies on the natural thickening power of chia. By soaking the seeds in whole-milk yoghurt, you create a velvety, mousse-like texture that feels indulgent while remaining high in fibre and protein. It is a refreshing alternative to traditional porridge, offering a cool and satisfying start to the morning that can be easily customised with your favourite toppings.

Perfect for busy weekdays, this dish is best prepared the night before to allow the seeds to fully hydrate and soften. The subtle sweetness of agave syrup balances the tang of the yoghurt, while toppings like cacao nibs or toasted coconut add a delightful textural contrast. This healthy homemade pot is also an excellent choice for a nutritious mid-afternoon snack or a light, gut-friendly dessert.
