Can I take Losartan and Solifenacin together?

Drug interaction guide

There is no direct interaction between losartan and solifenacin that would change how the drugs are absorbed or processed by your body. However, both medications can occasionally cause side effects like dizziness or a fast heartbeat. Why this happens

Losartan lowers blood pressure, and solifenacin (an antimuscarinic) can sometimes cause a slight increase in heart rate or a drop in blood pressure when standing. While they work on different systems, their combined effect on your circulation could lead to mild dizziness.

It is generally safe to take these two medicines together. To stay safe, take care when getting out of bed or standing up from a chair until you know how the combination affects you. If you experience severe dizziness, fainting, or a very fast heartbeat, contact your doctor.
