Can I take Korean ginseng and Magnesium together?

There are no known significant interactions between Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng) and magnesium supplements. It is generally considered safe to take these two together.

Why this happens

Korean ginseng and magnesium are processed by the body through different pathways. Magnesium is a mineral primarily absorbed in the intestines and excreted by the kidneys, while the active components of ginseng (ginsenosides) are broken down by liver enzymes and gut bacteria. They do not interfere with each other's absorption or effectiveness.

You can continue to take both as directed. However, it is always best to space out supplements by 1 to 2 hours to ensure your body absorbs each one effectively. If you experience any new symptoms like digestive upset or headaches, speak with your pharmacist or doctor.
