Why this happens
Eplerenone is a 'potassium-sparing' diuretic that prevents the body from getting rid of potassium. Farxiga (dapagliflozin) is an SGLT2 inhibitor that can also affect fluid balance and, in some cases, increase potassium levels. Together, their effects on your kidneys can lead to a buildup of potassium and a greater loss of body fluids.
What you should do
