Why this happens

Cod liver oil is a source of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A and D, which are processed by the body's fat-absorption pathways. Creatine is an amino acid derivative used for energy production in muscles and is processed by the kidneys. Because they use different pathways in the body and do not interfere with each other's absorption or function, there is no interaction.

You can continue taking both supplements as directed. It is often recommended to take cod liver oil with a meal to help with absorption and to reduce the chance of a fishy aftertaste, while creatine can be taken at any time of day, usually with plenty of water.
