Can I take Ashwagandha and Omega together?

There are no known direct interactions between ashwagandha and omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil). Both are generally safe to take together for most people.

Why this happens

Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that primarily affects the body's stress response and hormone levels, while omega-3 fatty acids are essential fats that support heart and brain health. They are processed by different pathways in the body and do not interfere with each other's absorption or effectiveness.

You can safely take these two supplements together. However, if you are taking blood-thinning medication (like warfarin) or have an upcoming surgery, you should speak to your doctor first, as both supplements can have very mild blood-thinning effects when taken in high doses.
