There are no known interactions between Aprokam and docusate. Aprokam is an antibiotic used inside the eye during surgery, while docusate is a stool softener taken by mouth or used as an enema.

Why this happens
Aprokam (cefuroxime) is injected directly into the eye by a surgeon and acts locally to prevent infection. Docusate works in the digestive system. Because these medicines work in completely different parts of the body and do not share the same pathways for breakdown or removal, they do not interfere with each other.
