Why this happens
Both medicines work by relaxing and widening your blood vessels (vasodilation) to lower blood pressure and treat chest pain. Because they both do this in different ways, their effects add together, which can lead to an exaggerated drop in blood pressure.
What you should do

When starting this combination or increasing the dose, get up slowly from a sitting or lying position to avoid dizziness. If you feel very dizzy, sit or lie down until the feeling passes. Contact your doctor if you experience persistent dizziness, fainting, or a racing heartbeat.
