Taking amlodipine and tadalafil together can cause your blood pressure to drop lower than intended. This might make you feel dizzy, light-headed, faint, or give you a headache. You may also notice a faster heartbeat as your body tries to compensate for the lower pressure.

Why this happens
Both medicines work by relaxing and widening your blood vessels. Amlodipine does this to treat high blood pressure, while tadalafil does this to improve blood flow for erectile dysfunction. When used together, their effects add up, leading to a more significant decrease in blood pressure.
