Why this happens

Paracetamol is a painkiller and fever reducer that is processed mainly by the liver. Asmanex is a corticosteroid inhaled into the lungs to prevent asthma symptoms; very little of the medicine enters the rest of the bloodstream. Because they work in different ways and are handled by different parts of the body, they do not interfere with each other.

You can take these medicines together as prescribed. However, it is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol when taking paracetamol, as combining them increases the risk of liver damage. Always follow the dosage instructions on the packaging for paracetamol and use your Asmanex inhaler exactly as your doctor has directed.
