Can I take Accrete d3 and Levothyroxine together?

Taking Accrete D3 at the same time as levothyroxine can significantly reduce the amount of thyroid hormone your body absorbs. This can make your levothyroxine less effective, potentially leading to symptoms of an underactive thyroid, such as tiredness, weight gain, and feeling cold.

Why this happens

Accrete D3 contains calcium carbonate. Calcium can bind to levothyroxine in the stomach and intestines, forming a complex that the body cannot absorb into the bloodstream.

You must separate the doses of these two medicines. Take your levothyroxine first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast. Wait at least 4 hours after taking your levothyroxine before taking your Accrete D3.
