Taking zopiclone and sildenafil together can make you feel very drowsy, dizzy, or lightheaded. It may also increase the risk of falls or accidents because both medicines can affect your coordination and alertness.

Why this happens

Zopiclone is a sedative that slows down the central nervous system. Sildenafil can lower your blood pressure. When used together, the combined effect of sedation and a drop in blood pressure can lead to increased sleepiness and dizziness.

If you take both, do so with caution. It is best to take zopiclone only when you are ready to go to bed. Do not drive, use tools, or operate machinery if you feel dizzy or sleepy the next day. It is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol, as it will make these side effects much worse.
