Why this happens
Both CBD and warfarin are broken down by the same enzymes in the liver. CBD blocks these enzymes, which stops the body from clearing the warfarin away. This leads to a 'backlog' of warfarin building up in your system.
What you should do
Back to contentsYou must speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using CBD if you are taking warfarin. If you decide to use both, your doctor will need to monitor your blood clotting levels (INR) much more frequently and will likely need to reduce your warfarin dose. Seek immediate medical help if you notice unusual bruising, nosebleeds, or blood in your urine or stools.

Can I take Desmopressin and Ketoconazole together?
Taking these two medicines together can significantly increase the amount of desmopressin in your blood. Symptoms to watch for include severe headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, or feeling very drowsy.

Can I take 150 and Zigduo together?
Taking aspirin (75mg to 150mg) with Xigduo (which contains dapagliflozin and metformin) can increase the risk of your blood sugar dropping too low (hypoglycaemia). It may also increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis, where too much acid builds up in your blood.
